Framewerk Imaging is a social enterprise of the Teen Leadership Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded in 2007 by current CEO Lisa Castetter. Its mission: to empower foster teens to become better leaders in their own lives and in their communities. The heartbreaking reality is that most teens leave foster care unprepared for life on their own. Just 25% of youth are consistently employed after foster care, slightly more than half have no earnings in the four years after care, 65% of teens leave foster care without a place to live, and 27% of the homeless population spent time in foster care.
Based in Costa Mesa, TLF helps foster youth throughout Southern California beat these odds through leadership summer camps, mentoring, life skills, and housing. As a natural progression of TLF’s investment in foster youth, Framewerk Imaging was launched in 2020, leveraging Lisa’s experience from her first career as an apparel industry executive. Framewerk Imaging creates quality products while providing foster youth real-life work experience they can apply to future work opportunities.
All profits support the programs that support, educate and train these at-risk youth. This is a purchase you can feel good about.
